Deep ruby colour, medium-high layer, intense legs with a vivid and lively rim.

Intense aroma characterised mainly by black fruits, accompanied by notes of wildflowers and mineral and liquorice nuances from the Syrah variety as well as balsamic notes from the Merlot variety. The ageing in high quality French oak barrels gives it complexity and very elegant, toasted notes.

On the palate it has a sweet entry that reflects its Mediterranean character, complex and intense, with elegant tannins and flavours of red fruits, raspberry, plum and black berries such as blueberry and blackberry, as well as spices and toasted notes from the ageing.

It is a wine of great intensity, enveloping and with a long-lasting after-taste with a pleasant finish that invites you to drink another glass.

Joan Manuel Ochogavia

During his studies, which he completed as a technical agricultural engineer, Joan Manuel worked and gained practical experience at various wineries during semester breaks and internships. In 2010, he began working alongside Rosa Pons in the vineyards of Can Axartell. When a new specialist was needed for the position of cellar master in 2012, Joan Manuel was predestined for this job, which he carries out with great care and dedication.
